Objectives

The implementation of this project is related to the horizontal principle - adult education in all its dimensions. This affects the transnational partnership, exchange of experience between organizations and increasing their work capacity, through:Promoting approaches to increase and systematize the knowledge of specialists working with adults with mental and physical disabilities;Providing full support to those working in social services of organizations.Increasing the capacity of specialists through the planned activities and the developed Handbook, as well as the exchange of experience, aiming to show the project participants the full picture of care in the various services in the partner countries;The results of the Project implementation are related to increased professional competencies of the teams, their participation in the planned meetings and activities of the Project-at least 50 specialists.One of our main goals was for those working in the field of social activities and social counseling to expand their knowledge about disabilities and psychological characteristics and behavioral specifics of people with special needs,taking into account the characteristics and opportunities of the family and social environment.

Activities

1Researching,description and analysis of data in the field of social service needs for people with disabilities and the current regulatory framework implemented in the participating countries.Different approaches and practices for different disabilities are presented,tailored to the specific needs of people in need of support. The Analysis outlined how each of the partner countries addresses their needs.2.Exchange of experience between partner organizations- 4 specialists working in the partner organizations visited each of the countries and became familiar with the ways of working in different services.3.Preparation of a Handbook containing information/summary from the conducted research with data in the field of social service needs for people with disabilities,the current regulatory framework applied in the participating countries.The studied working methods,approaches and techniques for working with persons with disabilities,learned during the exchange of experience and the participants' reports.4Conducted 1 Kick off and 2 ТPМs–on line;5. Conducted Multiply Events in each country.

Impact

Acquired new knowledge and skills through exchange of experience to improve the professional qualifications of specialists connections with colleagues from other countries, detachment from the workplace– prevention of "Burnout",shared good practices and professional experience,dissemination of acquired new knowledge,and techniques for work in their own countries and abroad.An Analysis with summarized data was prepared. The results are related to the increased professional competencies of the teams responcible for Analysis.Participation in the exchange of experience of 12 specialists -4 from each country.The specialists participating in the visit upgraded their professional competencies-this is the direct result,and the indirect-their increased knowledge is transferred to the teams in the relevant organizations, which increased the opportunities for supporting people with disabilities.A Handbook containing summarized information was prepared from the conducted survey with data in the field of social services,the current regulatory framework and policies implemented in the participating countries, working methods, approaches for working with people with disabilities learned during the exchange of experience.
