▶Objectives
The project aimed to enhance GDPR awareness and compliance among NGOs and adult learners across Europe. The primary objective was to educate individuals and organizations on safeguarding personal data and understanding their rights and obligations under GDPR. This included providing tools and methodologies to help NGOs comply with legal requirements and protect their members' and stakeholders’ sensitive information effectively. We sought to empower adult learners by improving their digital literacy and eSafety skills, enabling them to recognize and address data protection risks in their personal and professional lives. The project also aimed to foster transparency and trust in data processing practices by promoting public awareness about data protection rules, safeguards, and individual rights. Through the development of a comprehensive Guidebook, a digital knowledge hub, and targeted training sessions, the project focused on creating accessible, user-friendly resources. These outputs were designed to facilitate GDPR compliance, promote responsible data management, and support the digital transformation of organizations and individuals while ensuring safety and legal adherence.
