▶Objectives
The project aims at increasing the quality of Chinese language education by sharing know-how while addressing the common need for comprehensible digital learning materials by developing digital Chinese Grammar Platform (ChinGram), which would provide grammatical description, interactive exercises, and teacher support resources to 100 grammatical points in 5 EU languages. Project will strongly supports transnational cooperation and joint research in the Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language field.
▶Activities
ChinGram activities will include: (i) development of web with online learning platform for Chinese grammar and learners' data collection system; (ii) meetings, lectures and trainings for know-how exchange, know-how transfer and building partnership; (iii) research and data analysis leading to publishing joint research papers; and (iv) dissemination activities (workshops, conference presentations) to apply the outcomes in education and share them with stakeholders.
▶Impact
The main project results include: (i) long-term partnership with shared know-how in Chinese language teaching methodologies and research; (ii) plans and guidelines for project operations; (iii) online ChinGram platform for learners and teachers of Chinese with data collection system; (iv) research papers related to project topic and data analysis; (v) implementation and dissemination of ChinGram in Chinese language education in EU reaching out to new partners for further up-scaling of ChinGram.
