▶Objectives
The main objective of the project was to enhance the quality of vocational nursing education through innovative digital tools, international cooperation and support for inclusion. The partners aimed to create a European learning environment connecting schools, teachers and students of nursing. The project sought to develop digital and language competences of both teachers and learners, strengthen their readiness to work in multicultural settings and promote environmentally responsible approaches in teaching. A specific goal was to design and pilot three key results: the European Nursing Education (ENE) digital platform, an online handbook for educators and a multilingual course of basic nursing conversation. The project also aimed to establish sustainable partnerships among nursing schools and to promote the exchange of good educational practices across Europe, thereby contributing to the European dimension of vocational education.
▶Activities
The project was implemented through four main transnational meetings and three training activities for teachers. In the initial phase, management structures, schedules and monitoring tools were established. The first meeting in Plzeň set the management rules, communication plan and quality control procedures. Subsequent training events in Greece, Türkiye and Slovakia focused on developing, verifying and piloting the project results. The partners jointly created three key outputs: the European Nursing Education (ENE) digital platform, an online handbook for educators and a multilingual course of basic nursing conversation. Each partner was responsible for specific parts of the outputs according to their expertise and shared results through joint workshops. Implementation also included dissemination, project presentations at schools, conferences and on social media. All activities were carried out according to schedule, continuously evaluated for quality, and contributed to the successful achievement of the project objectives.
▶Impact
The project produced three main intellectual outputs: the European Nursing Education (ENE) digital platform, an online handbook for educators and a multilingual course of basic nursing conversation. The ENE platform integrates learning modules, videos, tests and worksheets and is available in all partner languages, including Ukrainian. The handbook provides teachers with methodological support and practical guidance for teaching multicultural and environmentally responsible nursing care. The language course develops students’ communication skills through dialogues, glossaries and audio recordings. Additional project results include strengthened digital competences of teachers, enhanced international cooperation and the establishment of a sustainable network of schools in nursing education. The project contributed to higher teaching quality, greater inclusiveness and stronger links between European vocational education systems.
