โ–ถObjectives

Disinformation is becoming a direct threat to our democracies and the lack of media literacy methodology in official curricula is leaving young people vulnerable to disinformation and manipulation. That is why we aim to find an attractive way how to foster media literacy skills with young people and develop methodologies and the hybrid game containing board game and mobile application to create a relevant tool for organisations working with youth.

โ–ถActivities

We start with a set of 3 training courses on game design, gamification in 3rd sector and gaming in the digital world related to non-formal education, involving 12 youth workers in each. Then it will be a transnational meeting to create a final version of the hybrid game, involving 8 consortium members. We will involve 400 youngsters during local activities. The last activity will be the final conference to multiply the results of the project, involving about 50 youth workers and 100 visitors.

โ–ถImpact

The main result will be an educational hybrid game on media literacy, combining board game and mobile application. We will also create a booklet with methodology from every training course, containing non-formal education methods and tools related to the topic. Participating organisations will raise their capacities in the field of media literacy and gamified educational tools, which will contribute to the development of a more media-literate society and strengthen democratic processes.
