Objectives

“Virtual Projects for European Digital Natives (NomadTrail)” addresses 2 major needs: the need of students and companies for virtual access to joint internships, projects and theses, and the need for graduates who are able to work in the virtual cross-border projects of the digital era. • Objective 1: increase industry-university cooperation and foster entrepreneurship • Objective 2: develop the project competence of graduates • Objective 3: train the teachers and involve them into EuroPIM

Activities

NomadTrail implements an iterative cycle of activities in order to develop and test: • Digital Framework for Virtual Cross-Border Projects • Innovation Projects Programme • Events: 2 x “Summer School on Innovation Projects”, 2 x Innovation Projects workshop, 3 x Train-the-Trainer Workshops • pilot teaching, test, evaluation of all outcomes, improvement, review and release • Web Portal for “Cross-border projects in higher education”, 2 x IEEE E-TEMS session, IPMA/AIEPRO & SEFI conference

Impact

• Digital Framework for Virtual Cross-Border Projects with IT tools for project management and collaboration • 4 x eLearning courses (5 ECTS each) on innovation projects, virtual collaboration: tutorials, case studies. • Innovation Projects Programme with 3 project formats and 4 case studies: innovation, cross-border, startup project • Train-the-Trainer (TtT) programme for teachers who want to use the outcomes, including eLearning module (8 ECTS) • The annual Summer School on Innovation Projects
