ROCKET creates a concept of critical Virtual Exchange and educational materials that engage on issues of diversity, inclusion and equity (DEI) across European HE. An innovative connection of Virtual Exchange (VE) and Role-Playing scenarios will lead towards social and emotional learning and conflict transformation skills for students. Lecturers and admin staff will benefit from further training opportunities. Relevant actors at universities and local stakeholders will widen the societal impact.
βΆActivities
20 Role-Playing Game scenarios will be developed to facilitate social and emotional learning and conflict transformation on issues of DEI. Two VE courses will be designed and implement selected Games (WP2). 4 VE training modules for lecturers and 2 for admin staff will be built to raise awareness on DEI at European HE (WP3, WP4). Partner institutions, students, lecturers, admin staff, (local) stakeholders/ citizens collaborate on project development and dissemination (WP1, WP5).
βΆImpact
ROCKET will result in 2 critical VE with three courses from partners, 2 workshops for students, 4 lecturer trainings, 3 admin staff trainings, 8 workshops for consortium members, 3 outreach events, 3 co-creation roundtables, OER material (e.g. instructions on RPG, guidelines on critical VE, digital training path). The RPG scenarios will allow participants to gain social and emotional competences and conflict transformation skills around issues of DEI and OER foster a sustainable dissemination.
