Objectives

The main objective of the project is to broaden the access and early integration of students into high-tech manufacturing technologies and the process of development of electronics, with a particular focus on the implementation of digital additive manufacturing and advanced 3D and µ-printing technologies (APT/DAM) in the Electrical Engineering field and on the development of modern teaching instruments to foster students’ skills in advanced and sustainable technologies.

Activities

The project will involve the preparation of the didactic process of the university for teaching and the use of APT/DAM and creation of new curricula. The project will involve the organization of lecture and laboratory activities and the preparation of new courses on APT/DAM in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, the project will establish a network of universities to promote transnational cooperation and synergies gained in research on APT/DAM in nanoelements, microsystems, and packaging.

Impact

The expected project results include the development of new curricula and courses related to 3D/µ-printing technologies in Electrical Engineering education, the enhancement of students' knowledge in high-tech manufacturing technologies, and the promotion of transnational cooperation and research on APT/DAM. Other expected outcomes include the advancement of innovation, creativity, and sustainability in education, as well as increased career opportunities for students in various industries.
