We wanted to achieve better understanding and peaceful relationships between different migrant and refugee groups, especially by addressing racism and conflicts that happen within these communities. We aimed to create spaces and activities that bring people together to build trust and cooperation. Another key goal was to support migrants and refugees in becoming active members of their communities through joint events and civic participation. The project also aimed to develop and document practical solutions for community-based inclusion efforts in a digital E-Book, supporting both local implementation and wider European dissemination. We also wanted to improve the skills of staff, volunteers, and educators so they can handle tensions and promote respectful dialogue more effectively. Ultimately, we wanted to build solidarity across borders, foster shared values, and encourage active participation among migrants and refugees to create stronger, and more inclusive communities. We truly believe we achieved and even exceeded all expectations because our results are practical, useful and meaningful.
