Objectives

Through our holistic approach to AI integration in education and work, we have systematically observed and analyzed current AI developments and their impact on the labour market and education system. With a Europe-wide discourse format, we established a platform for an intensive exchange on these transformations. Our innovative online event series with social media support brought together diverse perspectives and opened up new learning horizons. The focus was on building an active community of practice that supported each other in exploring AI topics. Sector-specific case studies documented existing AI influences, while concrete recommendations for action provided guidance for decision-makers. All findings and content were incorporated into a flexible online course system that enables asynchronous, lifelong learning and provides valuable recommendations for the future-oriented use of AI.

Activities

As part of our project, we realized an interactive online event series in spring/early summer 2024, which dealt with AI-based translation tools and their impact on the labour market, among other topics. At the same time, we established an active community of practice on LinkedIn and EPALE, serving as platforms for content exchange and community building. Based on discussions from video conferences and various study analyses, we created four industry-specific case studies focused on AI impact. Our social media presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook supported project dissemination and event communication. Additionally, a collaborative discourse space on LinkedIn allowed us to collect training recommendations and action suggestions for decision-makers. All materials and results were integrated into FLOWCAMPUS 4.0, our online course system for asynchronous learning. The comprehensive documentation and evaluation conducted throughout the project provided valuable insights to support future training courses.
