▶Objectives
The main objective of the "EU Digital AGRO-WomENtrepreneurs" project was to empower rural women by enhancing their skills in digital entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, and leadership. We aimed to foster entrepreneurial mindsets among women living in rural areas, encouraging them to actively participate in the digital economy and green transition. Specifically, the project sought to provide innovative training programs that would develop digital competences, agro-ecological literacy, and entrepreneurial capacities among rural women and adult educators. Through transnational cooperation, we aimed to exchange good practices, strengthen the professional profiles of adult trainers, and create practical resources such as a handbook to support women's entrepreneurial journeys. By the end of the project, we intended to improve the employability, social inclusion, and economic participation of rural women, while promoting broader EU priorities linked to gender equality, environmental sustainability, and digital innovation.
