▶Objectives
In a ZEITBANKplus (ZBplus), people help each other. So far, most of the members are older people. The project aims to further develop ZBplus and open it up to EVERYONE: young families, young people, people with a migrant background and people with disabilities. Further goals include cooperation with local institutions such as senior citizens' facilities, daycare centres and community centres, the dissemination of ZBplus and the strengthening of European cooperation between the project partners.
▶Activities
Learning materials and awareness-raising materials were created and distributed (e.g. videos, tutorials, press kits, surveys, presentations, guidelines, print media). In the learning activities (12 workshops), the contents of the further development of ZEITBANKplus were methodically worked out together. ZB members were trained to implement the innovations in their communities and to adapt to new target groups and social space orientation. Two transnational meetings enabled personal exchanges and cross-border sharing of experiences between all ZB members from both countries. Targeted communication activities were used to inform and raise awareness among local (street festival stand, survey), regional (regional trade fair) and national stakeholders (TV/radio reports) about the ZBplus model and its benefits. Dissemination of the project results to raise awareness of ZEITBANKplus and its role in social cohesion, inclusion and participation. Regular project meetings (kick-off, monthly online jour fixes) ensured communication, cooperation and management of the project, including time and budget control.
▶Impact
The main outputs were flyers, inserts, videos, radio and TV reports, tutorials and presentations explaining how ZBplus works, encouraging new start-ups and raising awareness. This made it easier to address different target groups. In addition, learning materials for workshops and communication strategies for stakeholders and awareness-raising were developed. At the competence level, the associations were able to experience the enrichment of ZBplus's new target group-oriented and social space-oriented orientation and learned how to use digital tools and methodological basics. In addition, their skills in carrying out public relations and awareness-raising measures were strengthened. In the area of networking, cooperation between SPES e.V. and the umbrella organisation ZBplus intensified, new contacts were established with local and regional institutions, and personal relationships among members were strengthened. Several thousand people were reached through materials, workshops and public relations work. The media developed are having a lasting effect, facilitating future workshops and new start-ups, attracting new members and increasing the visibility of the ZBplus model in both countries.
