In the long run, our project “Breaking a Taboo” is aiming at reducing the number of child marriages in the Roma communities of the partner countries. For that, a re-thinking is necessary. Therefore, our project would like to contribute to detabooizate the subjects sex life and marriage by an intergenerational dialogue within Roma families, to promote sex education, family planning and preparation for motherhood and to perceive lifelong learning as basis for personal development.
