โถObjectives
In response to the multiple crises and shortage of health professionals facing Europe, the Nursing Network of the European University Hospital Alliance (EUHA) aims to launch a fellowship programme for critical care nurses focusing on disaster preparedness. We want to establish a common education programme for nurses that will provide specialized crisis response knowledge and create a network of intercultural trained nurses ready to work across borders.
โถActivities
A fellowship programme between six partner university hospitals of the European University Hospital Alliance (EUHA) that is accompanied by a curriculum of theoretical and practical learning units. Each partner hospital of the EUHA will contribute expertise in university nursing with a module in its own area of expertise. The practical units will take place in the respective partner hospitals. Learning content will be made available online and free of charge for all interested parties.
โถImpact
We want to create a network of critical care nurses collaborating to develop evidence-based crisis care standards with knowledge of the methodology necessary to create high quality care standards in times of crisis. We want this network to remain active after the end of the programme to ensure the further development of knowledge and readiness to work across borders in times of crisis. In this way, we aim to improve the cross-border safety and quality of critical care nursing for all Europeans.
