NEED: In many areas of life, systems are used that are based on algorithms and make decisions automatically. Often, citizens are unaware of the application of this technology. And there is little awareness of the impact on people and society. OBJECTIVES: - Train critical AI competence of multipliers. - Contribute to the debate: Which frameworks are necessary for digital self-determination to become effective?

6 partners from 3 countries form the consortium: - HTL Wien West (vocational school) - Democracy Centre Vienna - Austrian Academy of Sciences - Arbeit & Leben (GER) - Luca School of Arts (Belgium) Coordinator: Institute for Didactics of Democracy (Leibniz University Hanover) The partners design the results via the EPALE platform. These are tested nationally and internationally and then used in the participating institutions.
