▶Objectives
VETCompass project aims to enhance VET Quality and Attractiveness by focusing on VET Teachers' transversal skills. The objectives of this project are: (s.O.1) Identification of the necessary transversal skills of VET Teachers/Trainers/Staff, Assessment of European VET Teacher’s Transversal Skills (s.O.2), Enhance VET attractiveness by aligning teachers’ skills with today’s imperatives in the field of VET Education (s.O.3), Empower VET educators targeted continuous professional development.
▶Activities
To reach the project's objectives we are going to develop a Skill Assessment Framework and Game-based Assessment Tool, pilot the assessment to European VET teachers and then produce a Toolbox Library and Roadmap for the continuous professional development of VET Teachers' transversal skills. The consortium throughout the project duration will implement research activities, LTTAs, piloting activities, focus groups, and workshops.
▶Impact
The project is going to produce the following concrete results: Framework for the Trasversal skills of VET Teachers, Game-based Transversal Skill Assessment Tool, Transnational Report on European VET Teachers Transversal Skills, Toolbox Library with 50 resources for teachers continuous professional development, a Roadmap that will support VET Institutions in capitalizing the PRs and enhance their staff's professional development.
