Objectives

We believe that with this project, we have made our teachers competent in methods that will provide digital access to cultural heritage. Through them, we have created awareness among our students about protecting cultural heritage. In this way, we have contributed to the formation of the common European cultural heritage.

Activities

In the first mobility, the participants learned how to shoot with a 3D camera, transform images and edit videos. Then, the Hagia Sophia Museum was visited. The activity was shot with a 3D camera. The participants processed these shots in the IT laboratory. In addition, they added information boxes about the historical place along with the video editing process. In the second mobility, Stralsund Old Town was visited, In the third mobility, the historical Tønsberg fortress was visited and the digital processes in the first mobility were repeated.

Impact

As a result of the pre-test and post-test applications we conducted throughout the project; our teachers; 85% became competent in digital methods to access cultural heritage. Accordingly, our students; 78% gained awareness of protecting historical cultural heritage. Thus; As a result of the democratization of access to cultural heritage in education, they have gained equal rights in accessing cultural heritage, they have started to contribute to the formation of the Common European cultural heritage and they have developed their awareness of European citizenship.
