▶Objectives
The goal is to make at first all participants open-minded towards other cultures. Then all school communities should acquire an open-minded attitude towards other cultures in order to prevent conflicts, racism and discrimination. The further goal also contributes to this, namely to be able to do even better justice to the diversity in the student body, especially with regard to the inclusive schooling of students with special educational needs, refugees and through internal differentiation.
▶Activities
Within the framework of workshops, excursions, further training and cooking activities, positive examples of intercultural coexistence and cooperation as well as the peculiarities of the food cultures of the participating countries are developed. In addition, there are training courses on the different focuses in individual support of the project partners and workshops to derive new support approaches for the existing support concepts of every partner.
▶Impact
An intercultural cookbook and calendar are to be designed, which will serve as teaching material in various subjects of the partners after the end of the project. In this way, the experiences will be available to the entire school community in the long term and used by them. In addition, suitable and optimized support concepts are developed for each partner, which contain action plans for internally differentiated support in heterogenous learning groups, education for refugees and inclusion.
