We wanted to achieve following main objectives: O1: Informing and sensitizing students - Knowledge creates awareness and awareness leads to action. O2: Skilling up students - Students gather knowledge on climate change, energy, mobility, housing, IT; understand complex interrelationships and train applying fact-based communication skills. O3: Empowering students - Shaping self-awareness in young people to see themselves as shapers of the future for civic engagement and participation in the social transformation, showing stamina and resilience. O4: Advancing Education for Sustainable Development - Teachers get an exciting and innovative educational package and are informed, trained and empower to implement ETA-Day themselves at their school. O5: Achieving more public awareness for climate change and energy transition. By creation of a homepage, involving various multipliers and dissemination of content on social media, newsletters etc. O6: Creating a network with new partners on a European level and consolidating synergetic transnational relationships. With an increase of competences, intercultural, transnational exchange, learning from each other it leads to further development of the own organization

We implemented following activities in our project: ● Elaboration of Energy Transition Action Day materials for 5 units: - Know-how on energy transition - Know-how on mobility and housing - Role play to plan a new more climate friendly area - Presentation of planning results - Discussion with the city ● Evaluation of the ETA-Day in test runs in secondary schools in Germany, Greece, and Romania together with municipal decision-makers ● Training of teachers to implement the ETA-Day themselves (in webinars and in presence sessions)

The main concrete outputs of our project were: ● An extensive educational package for the Energy Transition Action Day in four languages (English, German, Greek and Romanian) including -preparatory e-learning modules - guideline for teachers - animation and other educational videos - quiz - in-class presentation ● Digital ETAD tool for city planning including a manual in four languages ● Website with free access to ETA-Day material in four languages ● Trained students from test runs ● Trained teachers and trainers from the training and webinars
