Objectives

AI@Smile aims to preserve teenager’s mental health and prevent suicidal ideation. AI@Smile will achieve this general objective through a triangle-comprehensive approach which foresees the support of AI tools as an ally to detect early signs of mental health deterioration, the direct involvement and training of teachers, educators and parents and the introduction of nature-based activities to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression and other mental health disorders.

Activities

WP1 will focus on project management; WP2 will implement activities for identifying ethical practices in the use of AI on mental health issues with minors; WP3 will design a digital learning platform, MOOCs and APP/Game; WP4 focuses on the design of a AIChatbot; WP5 involves communication&dissemination of the project through social media accounts, multiplier events, international conferences & publishing articles.

Impact

The project will provide a set of innovative results on the relation of AI-mental health disorders in teenagers. WP2 will produce guidelines and orientation of the EU policy framework on data collection and privacy related issues. WP3 will produce a Digital Learning Platform providing trainings, didactic units to be used in classrooms with students, MOOCS and a Gaming App (all in multiple languages); WP4 will produce a selfassessement Chatbot; WP5 dissemination and exploitation results.
