โ–ถObjectives

The core of this project is the design of a training course for educators to support summer activities and youth camps, designed to provide NGOs with tools and methods to create and implement successful training programmes. The training course will equip educators with the skills and knowledge needed to create engaging and safe youth activities, giving them the confidence and tools to successfully run a summer program that meets the needs of their participants.

โ–ถActivities

Three main work packages have been planned: the first includes an analysis of the needs of young people and educators, who will present their vision of summer activities, how they are and how they should be organized and structured; the second includes the construction of a training course for educators as a methodological toolkit for implementing youth activities in an informal context such as summer camps; the third is the test of the toolkit with two pilot actions, in Germany and Italy.

โ–ถImpact

With this project we expect to achieve the following results: 1) Analysis of the needs addressed to young people. 2) Analysis of the needs addressed to youth workers. 3) The dataset: the results of the analyzes will be included in a dataset containing the different approaches, experiences, best practices. 4) A methodological toolkit, NGOs can use to design training courses to prepare volunteers, educators, and leaders for summer camps. 5) Pilot actions to test the methodological toolkit
