βΆObjectives
The PIECE aims to β Facilitate the transition to DPP in the battery sector by increasing knowledge about DPP and providing training to top management and production managers β Develop training guidelines and materials for training delivery to foster knowledge about DPP and raise VET attractiveness and awareness β Test the developed guideline and materials for top management and production managers in battery sector by means of pilots β Transfer the results to other countries and job profiles
βΆActivities
During the 24 months, PIECE will identify the needs of battery sectors about DPP knowledge and skills. After need analysis, training curriculum & innovative training materials will be developed to be used by VET providers or other relevant training centres. Additionally, a maturity assessment tool will be developed to enable self-assessment of companies in DPP. These materials will be implemented by means of pilot courses, and certificates will be issued to the participants.
βΆImpact
The outcomes of the project will mutually benefit partners, administrators in the battery sector and companies. The project partners will be able to fully understand DPP transition process and make efficient shift before the DPP implications become mandatory for all sectors. Additionally, the project will increase attractiveness and awareness of VET providers.
