▶Objectives
The UPWORK project will improve the competencies of VET trainers and operators by developing a digital curriculum, as well as holistic and flexible training paths for special needs learners. It will actively engage employers in the training paths, and develop a micro-credential system for the recognition of competencies of learners in the event management and hospitality sector.
▶Activities
The main activities of this project are: 1. Developing a professionals' digital curriculum & training Path for SN learners in events management and hospitality sectors; 2. Developing micro-credentials for recognition of competencies (digital); and 3. Constructing a favorable environment for the future employment perspective of SN and engaging employers to promote diversity at the workplace.
▶Impact
The project will have developed the following: 1. A Digital Curriculum for VET Professionals & Training Paths for SN learners 2. A website that will serve as a learning platform and resource center for the products produced by the project, video testimonials from stakeholders, as well as other relevant materials. 3. A Micro-Credential System for recognizing the competencies of learners in the special event and hospitality sectors 4. A communication campaign for employers
