Objectives

The main goal of the project was to promote a balanced and mindful integration of digital technologies into the educational process as a means of supporting children's physical health, emotional well-being, and the development of an active, healthy lifestyle. Within this framework, the project set the following objectives: 1. To foster healthy habits and an awareness of personal well-being through the thoughtful use of digital tools in education. 2. To support educators by developing methodological materials and facilitating the exchange of effective practices for the health-conscious use of technologies in teaching. 3. To develop children's digital competencies, critical thinking, and responsible attitudes toward screen time and their own health. 4. To combine active lifestyles with digital learning to ensure the holistic development of each child. 5. To strengthen cooperation between European schools and kindergartens through the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and cultural traditions. The project fostered the integration of digital literacy and healthy lifestyle in education while supporting educators' professional growth through new methodological resources and international exchange.

Activities

At the very beginning, the children designed and, through voting, selected the project logo, symbolizing shared values and visually uniting the partner countries. Each country created its own project character — a Digi doll — and produced six copies. The children enthusiastically developed the characters' appearances, gave them names, defined their personalities, and selected hobbies. During the first international meeting, partners exchanged the dolls, resulting in each country receiving all six unique characters. Throughout the project, these dolls accompanied educational activities and became important symbols and ambassadors of the project. Project corners were set up, along with communication channels through platforms such as Facebook and eTwinning to facilitate interaction and knowledge exchange. During the first international meeting, the plan for future activities was adjusted. The project was structured into three thematic modules, within which participants completed practical assignments, shared experiences and results, conducted masterclasses, and took part in training sessions aimed at developing teachers' professional competencies.

Impact

The project achieved significant results, reaching children, educators, parents, and specialists, and became a platform for sustainable international cooperation and innovative educational development. The key outcome was a methodological book, published in digital and printed formats, summarizing the project experience. It includes descriptions and photos of activities from six countries, reports on open lessons, masterclasses, international meetings, practical tasks, links to digital games, and ICT recommendations for early childhood education. The book serves as a valuable resource for educational practice at both national and international levels. Intangible results include improved digital literacy among children, the development of critical thinking, creativity, and a mindful attitude toward technology. Educators enhanced their professional skills by mastering modern methods and tools adapted to young children's needs. Parental engagement grew, fostering healthy digital habits in families and strengthening ties with educational institutions. The project created a sustainable model for early digital literacy by combining health, play, art, and cultural exchange, emphasizing the safe use of technology for children's well-being.
