โถObjectives
WESEM aims to train VET students and professionals in forestry, agriculture and environmental science to become advisors to landowners and farmers by providing them with the knowledge and skills to manage their farms ethically and sustainably and successfully apply for the Wildlife Estate label.
โถActivities
The main activities we are going to carry out are: - Preliminary research on related to ethical and sustainable management and maintenance of private land estates and the co-creation of WESEM methodological guide. - Training contents and toolkit development. - Training platform and mentors network development and testing.
โถImpact
The main result of WESEM will be a platform made of two areas: - A training area that will contain all of the training material, including the modules, toolkit, and self-assessment and validation tools. - A mentoring network designed for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between mentors (landowners/farmers who have already implemented nature conservation initiatives) and other users (VET students and professionals in forestry, agriculture and environmental areas, landowners/farmers).
