The project aimed to empower women -of all ages and backgrounds- living in rural communities, through tailored made workshops. The learning opportunities provided covered a variety of topics, such as skill-building in entrepreneurship, cultural and natural heritage preservation, creative expression, and women empowerment. Key objectives included: - Strengthening participants' personal and professional capabilities. - Increasing their access to economic opportunities, by equipping them with practical tools, such as marketing and social media skills. - Promoting gender equality by encouraging women’s participation in leadership roles and public life. - Activating local communities to preserve and promote cultural and environmental heritage. - International and intercultural exchange. Ultimately, the project sought to foster personal growth, create sustainable economic opportunities, and inspire a sense of ownership and pride of local heritage.

Management & Dissemination preparatory online meetings were held to coordinate the signing of the Grant Agreement, while the project officially initiated with a kick-off meeting to finetune project’s goals and strategies. This activity included partnership agreements, management, dissemination, quality and sustainability plans. Followed by biweekly partners meetings, A.1 secured a comprehensive administration scheme and dissemination efforts. Empowerment Paths in GR & IT were built on a needs analysis conducted on a sample of our target group, early on A.2 & 3. Based on their desires and limitations, workshops on empowerment, entrepreneurship, cultural and natural heritage, and creativity were co-developed, after all partners’ knowledge exchange. A.2 & 3 included online meetings between GR and IT teams, and the development of a Digital Handbook. Natural and Cultural Heritage Incubator brought the Greek and Italian participants together in Kalavryta for team-building, intercultural dialogue, study visits, and project brainstorming. The Multiplier Event in Italy brought one last time both teams together, where they had the chance to showcase their project ideas, engage with stakeholders and forge cross-cultural relationships.

- 21 GR and 12 IT women attended 10 workshops and developed new skills - 4 online thematic meetings for all - 10 IT travelled to Kalavryta and 11 GR to Brindisi and Lecce - Participants -individually or in groups- formed 7 business ideas: creation of a Female Cooperative Enterprise in Kalavryta; of a Personal Enterprise with hand-made wax melts; of a Personal Enterprise with hand-made artefacts; of a nursery school for kids and their parents. Further development of Family Business, by entering natural products, based on local ingredients and traditional recipes; of an existing podcast, “Il Capodoglio”; of an enterprise of nature experiences and hand made artefacts in clay. - Development of an open-source Digital Handbook in Greek, English and Italian, detailing methodologies, best practices, and lessons learnt. Artemis & Diana empowered women, raised cultural and environmental awareness by engaging communities and stakeholders, and fostered GR-IT ties through intercultural exchange, workshops, and joint projects. This ensured participants’ continued support and promoted the sustainability and scalability of outcomes.
