Recent literature has shown that there are weaknesses in the provision of civic education in primary schools. The aim of this project is to improve teachers' skills and competencies in using metaverse technologies XR (extended reality) to support civic learning and to better prepare them to use advanced modern technologies to help young students develop and practise the knowledge, beliefs and behaviours they need to participate in civic life and make an impact on their community.
