▶Objectives
The project aims to enhance the capacity, skills building and readiness in the area of Disaster Risk Management (DRM) including the issues of prevention, effective handling and rehabilitation. The interactive learning and training tool will be correlated to relevant courses, as part of an integrated curriculum aiming to enrich the knowledge of the wide target group on specific aspects of DRM.
▶Activities
The partnership will conduct basic research and the scheme of Higher Education Institutions (HEI), Vocational Educational Training (VET) providers and Civil protection stakeholders will achieve the outreach of a reliable and representative sample and feedback. Partnership will work in parallel to the construction of an innovative interactive tool correlated to a curriculum on the topics of disaster risk management, civil protection, strategic planning and team building for prevention
▶Impact
The expected project results will strengthen the education and training paths of the addressed target groups, equipping them, with competences and skills that will make them more competitive in the labour market and will encourage cooperative schemes with civil protection stakeholders. The innovative interactive tool will create synergies between education sector and strategic planning authorities and stakeholders.
