Objectives

PeakED project objectives are about to build capacities and co-develop - in a bottom-up participatory process with value chain actors, local communities, market players, and future entrepreneurs - relevant practical frameworks in project countries for the establishment of a new approach towards resilience and sustainability of mountain areas.

Activities

•Organizing interdisciplinary activities to bring together participants, market players, authorities, local communities and policy makers to discuss on challenges and provide solutions on transformative approaches in supporting mountain areas towards sustainability under a new perspective via an innovative approach •Developing guide and tools to foster inclusion and cross-sectoral dialogue to promote personal and professional development and the use of digital means to disseminate practices.

Impact

PeakED suggests a new way of improving mountain areas and their communities. It will include not only data for highlighting any possible critical issues, but also the human side of co-creation, via the interactive Living Labs. It can help with practical solutions for future professions, preservation, greenspace and other challenges in the public realm. PeakED will first set up a collective debate on priorities, with participatory citizen monitoring.
