The main objective of EDUGREENER was to improve the sustainability of Erasmus+ mobilities in the adult education sector. To achieve this, the project sought to identify and standardise good environmental, economic and social practices applicable at each stage of the mobilities. In addition, it aimed to raise awareness of sustainability among beneficiaries, promote transnational collaboration and provide useful tools for national agencies. EDUGREENER also hoped to create a handbook of sustainable practices that could be adopted in other sectors of the Erasmus+ programme. In implementing the project, it sought to contribute to the European objectives of green and digital transition, ensuring high quality mobilities that positively impact local communities and the wider European context
