The ZAB achieved its three key objectives: 1) Establish Circular Intergenerational Learning: creating a mutual learning process where young people and adults exchange knowledge; reversing traditional teaching roles, teenagers guided adults in understanding contemporary socio-ecological issues, while adults (students) contributed their life experiences to the discussion. 2) Bridge formal and non-formal education, by integrating artistic methodologies and cultural practices into traditional education frameworks, addressing climate change, mental health, and social justice through creative expression. 3) Develop innovative educational resources, through workshops, collaborative research, and digital tools. We produced pedagogical resources that have been shared for their replicability. This project was designed to boost the use of creative practices as a means of knowledge generation, strengthening local solidarity networks and encouraging long-term engagement in education. The implementation was intended to integrate formal and non-formal education and promote civic participation in response to contemporary socio-ecological challenges. Also, by integrating formal and non-formal education, ZAB sought to engage civic participation.
