Objectives

This project aimed to bridge the digital divide by addressing the urgent need for digital literacy among families at risk of exclusion. By equipping parents and proffessionals with the necessary skills, the project ensured that children could fully participate in digital education without being disadvantaged due to their family’s socioeconomic background, and also adults could improve their digital skills and therefore improve their curriculum development and access to the labor market. Through the implementation of the project, it was expected to generate a real impact on the lives of children and families in vulnerable situations in Greece, Turkey and Spain, promoting inclusion and diversity through the improvement of the digital competencies of professionals, children and families. It was expected the development of a practican guide for proffesionals as a guideline and tool to work effectively with families, promoting a safe and respectful use of internet, using a piloting and testing with the beneficiary population in order to generate useful and participatory material.
