Objectives

The SÍSIFO project was created to provide a concrete response to the need for socio-community intervention proposals for the Emotional Well-being of unemployed adults. From the outset, the partner organizations set the objectives to be achieved, such as strengthening participants' social and relational skills, combined with autonomy and initiative, as well as developing inclusive values for their community. Therefore, SÍSIFO has represented the opportunity to improve their personal and social skills for holistic development. The WHO's concept of Emotional Well-being objectively includes the priorities and topics selected for the project and, consequently, for its objectives. Training programs for job guidance and integration (PFOIL) are based on the acquisition of skills exclusively related to the job search (résumés, social networks, communication strategies, or even soft skills), without, in most cases, including skills for Emotional Well-being (mental health).

Activities

- 1 initial research project on conceptual and methodological aspects that provided the overall basis for the project's actions. - 3 workshops (1 in each country per entity) for inter-cooperative training and enrichment based on the expert profile of each entity, on the one hand, and for the development of intervention models with the groups, on the other. - 12 pilot workshops for the implementation of intervention models specific to each group. - 3 final events held in each of the entities' countries of origin.
