▶Objectives
Our main goal in the project was to create conscious consumption by becoming aware of our food. In addition, we aimed to raise awareness against the food crisis, fight against quarkism by protecting our water, and combat the climate crisis by recycling.
▶Activities
In our project, we first created our water footprint to draw attention to the importance of water and learned water literacy. In the second stage, we created mini gardens to draw attention to the formation of our food. We visited the gardens and examined their formation processes. We exchanged seeds. We carried out seed sorting. We learned how to compost to draw attention to recycling. We visited the compost facility. and we applied the compost to our garden.
▶Impact
Mini Greenhouses and Gardens: * Mini greenhouses were set up in each participating country, students experienced the stages of seed planting and plant cultivation. * Alhambra Gardens were visited in Spain, information was received from experts on botany and sustainable plant production. Compost Production: * Solid waste recycling was learned with expert support in Antalya mobility. * Compost facilities of the local municipality were visited. * Compost applications were initiated in schools. Water Footprint Studies: * Efficient use of water resources was trained with expert institution support in Paris mobility. * Individual and collective water footprint calculations by the participants. Educational Materials: * All visuals, videos, posters and social media content prepared during the project process were published. * E-Magazine (Digital Magazine) was prepared and shared publicly on the e-twinning platform and project website. * Short Film was shot and published on online platforms. Web and Social Media Studies: * The project website was created and supported with up-to-date content. * All activities and results were shared on Facebook and e-twinning platforms. Test and Survey Results: * Increased awareness level 30-35%
