Objectives

The main goal of our project was enabling teachers to use Drama, which is an effective method in lessons. So, it was designed to developed key competences such as foreign languages, digital skills, communication skills and cultural Exchange using new methods. Some goals were the recognition of learning outcomes for the participants in cross-border learning mobility, enriching the teaching and learning of a foreign language using creative, artistic and digital ways and approaches, were served to a fully successful extent and degree. The interactive nature of digital tools and the drama techniques that were utilized during the project were among the desired effects and results we had wanted to implement. We wanted to gain knowledge and practical use of tools related to implementing digital teaching in my classes. We also wanted to give our students many other tools to develop the connection between traditions and the future.

Activities

We have implemented Role Playing Scenarios to make teachers and indirectly the students to act out real life situations or fictional stories to practice communication. We have prepared eBooks to show different cultures and countries educational games with the help of digital web 2.0 tools. We were very focused on collaboration and team work which made our project intercultural and enjoyable. The students gave constructive feedback to improve each other’s performances. The most and the best studies were the ones made by students while they were introducing their countries with traditional foods, culture or stories. That was the way we use lifelong learning strategies. We made several workshops in each country related with active learning and real-life situations.

Impact

The concrete outputs of our project were held in many educative ways such as Recorded Performances, Scripts and Storyboard Performances, Digital Stories. In another hand we got some learning materials such as: Activity Guides (how to teach a subject), Teaching videos and Interactive Games. We were also keen on Drama Performances and Exhibitions of our visible products. We shared and created Teacher Training Materials which took part in our project under the title of Traditional Games and Stories.
