Objectives

EduCross aimed to achieve several goals. First, we wanted to foster international collaboration by promoting cooperation and exchange between our partners across Europe. This would encourage the sharing of best practices and innovative teaching methods. We also aimed to enhance digital skills among both students and staff by integrating new technologies into our educational processes, helping everyone prepare for the demands of today’s digital world. Another key goal was to promote inclusion and equal opportunities, ensuring that students from disadvantaged backgrounds could participate fully and creating an environment that values diversity. We sought to develop language and intercultural skills, strengthening the ability of students and teachers to communicate in English and other languages while increasing their understanding of different cultures and fostering a sense of European citizenship. We aimed to support professional development by providing teachers and staff with opportunities for growth through training, workshops, and international exchanges, which would enhance teaching quality and school management. Last, we aimed to create sustainable educational resources by developing and sharing innovative teaching material

Activities

The EduCross project was structured around a series of well-defined activities designed to achieve its objectives through a combination of local actions, transnational cooperation, and digital innovation. Four transnational mobilities were organized: in Slovenia, Spain, Türkiye and Poland (including project closure). Each mobility combined workshops, collaborative projects, and cultural activities to foster digital skills and intercultural understanding. In terms of project management, we ensured that all activities were well-coordinated, timelines were followed, and resources were allocated effectively. Regular online meetings, a whatsapp channel and continuos information emails kept everyone informed and engaged. A major output was the collaborative creation of an open-access digital language teaching toolkit (Activity 1), integrating best practices and web2 tools. Dissemination activities included presentations, social media updates, creation of diverse e-documents (magazine, newsletter) and sharing materials on eTwinning and school websites, ensuring the project’s impact reached the wider educational community. All activities were inclusive, student-centered, and aligned with the project’s digital objectives.

Impact

EduCross project produced a range of tangible outputs and positive results across its four international mobilities, Activity 1, PM and dissemination activities. There were 4 international mobilities (Slovenia, Spain, Türkiye, Poland) that produced digital outputs such as magazines, collaborative eBooks, video documentaries, and interactive moodboards, using tools like Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, Publisher, StoryJumper. Workshops led to lesson plans, quizzes, and guides for online language learning. A key output was the open-access “Creative Online Support in Language Teaching Environments” Toolkit, compiling best practices and digital methodologies. This so-called Activity 1 established strong collaboration, needs analysis, and digital skills assessment among partners. Dissemination was achieved through diverse products (brochures, dedicated project website, e-magazine, e-newsletters, eTwinning and school websites), ensuring results reached a broad audience. EduCross strengthened international cooperation and left a legacy of digital resources and inclusive practices for future use. The project improved students’ and teachers’ digital and language competences, intercultural awareness, and inclusion of disadvantaged individua
