Objectives

The aim is advancing towards more inclusive and diverse HEI by promoting intersectional mainstreaming in HET; to create & implement innovative challenge-based methodologies to engage teaching staff & students from diverse social groups & disciplines; to generate interdisciplinary transferable knowledge to mainstream intersectionality in HET (curricula, pedagogy and teaching methodology, assessment, learning environments); to raise awareness among stakeholders on intersectionality in HET.

Activities

The activities of the project include a Mutual-Learning Internal Training; Students’ Working Groups; Teaching Staff Working Groups; a Promising Practices and Resources Research; a Capacity-Building Internal Training; a Students’ Training Session; a Teaching Staff Training Session; a European Conference; National Multiplier Events; Website & Open Access Resources development; and Meetings with stakeholders to disseminate Policy recommendations and project results.

Impact

The expected results include a Promising Practices and Resources Collection, an Innovative Methodologies Report, a Toolkit on mainstreaming intersectionality in higher education that engages teaching staff and students with intersectionality; a Students’ Training Model and a Teaching Staff Training Model that account for generating transferable and interdisciplinary knowledge; and Policy Recommendations and a Website & Open Access Resources in order to raise awareness.
