▶Objectives
Main objective: To improve and promote the adoption of the quadruple helix model as a driver for sustainable and inclusive development of local communities, through participatory and multidisciplinary approaches. To reach this main goal, three specific objectives were defined to guide all project activities: -Develop innovative formats for higher education courses that combined university technical competences with the practical knowledge and methodologies of CSOs. The purpose was to focus this training on crucial areas such as community organisation and the achievement of sustainable development goals at the local level. -Strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions and CSOs, breaking down existing barriers and build bridges between the two sectors. The ambition was to create a lasting collaborative ecosystem based on trust, mutual understanding, and shared benefits. -Promote synergies between the academic and social fields: The expectation was that, by aligning academic knowledge and research with the real needs of the community, it would be possible to design and implement local development policies and actions that were far more coherent, efficient, and capable of generating a real and measurable impact.
