Objectives

The aim of this project is to contribute to solving the problem of the vulnerability of secondary school teachers and their students to the growing phenomenon of disinformation and fake news, by training them and providing them with the tools and resources that will enable them to improve their media literacy skills. In this way they will be able to make well-informed decisions and adopt the role of active citizens, guarantors of the values of a democratic society.

Activities

• Management and coordination activities, including internal partner communication, quality control and financial reporting; • Dissemination and promotion activities, including multiplier events, creation and maintenance of social networks. • Activities related to project results, such as research, design, co-creation, development, pilot testing and improvement of results based on the assessment of the target groups

Impact

• Teacher’s Handbook to train them in the management of disinformation and fake news by improving their skills. • Online Educational Platform to train teachers and students in disinformation and fake news management. • Educational Chatbot, which will be hosted on the online platform and will help high school students to solve doubts and information needs related to disinformation management.
