▶Objectives
To foster critical thinking & common values by approaching European children’s literature from an intersectionality to develop citizenship, cultural awareness & literacy competences among students and teachers. Specific aims are: engage school teachers, pre-service teachers & students in the elaboration of educational resources; develop resources to foster social & intercultural competences & critical thinking from an intersectional perspective; raise awareness on inclusion and diversity.
▶Activities
There will be a Mutual-Learning Internal Training and a Teachers’, Pre-Service Teachers’ &Students’ Workshops to engage target groups in the development of resources. A Capacity-Building Internal Training & European Promising Practices Research to develop resources. Thirdly, to raise awareness, a Teachers’, Pre-Service Teachers’ & Wide Educational Community Trainings, National Multiplier Events and the Zoom Out Conference, Awareness-Raising Campaign, Website & Open Access Resources Development.
▶Impact
The expected results for the first objective is a Handbook; for the second, a European Promising Practices Collection & a Toolbox; for the third, an Awareness-Raising Campaign, Teachers’, Pre-Service Teachers’ and Wide Educational Community Training Models, a Zoom Out Website & Open Access Resources. These results will provide resources, knowledge, methodologies, and competences to students, teachers and the educational community and create sustainable impact.
