Objectives

The overall objective of the project is to support long-term Ukrainian migrants in the process of integration into their host communities by: - creating a safe and supportive social space; - developing healthy coping mechanisms of emotional intelligence; - promoting environmental sustainability for post-war ecological reconstruction of Ukraine; - improving digital literacy needed to navigate local software and applications.

Activities

Project Management activities include Transnational Meetings in Spain and Czechia and an online intermediate meeting. The activities within the knowledge acquisition phase embody: - a training course in Spain on Environmental literacy and emotional intelligence - participatory visits in Czechia on Digital alphabetization, and in Poland on Social space for integration, not assimilation. The Dissemination activities comprise internal workshops, multiplier events and a consultation period.

Impact

The project results include: - increased social cohesion, improved mental health, enhanced employability, and economic inclusion of long-term Ukrainian migrants; - enhanced confidence in the youth workers’ abilities to support the evolved needs of refugees; - our partnership’s developed capacity to work with diverse groups, improved visibility and presence; - a positive impact on society as a whole by empowered tolerance, inclusion, engagement and connection between all of its communities.
