The general objective of the "Youth Energy Labs" project is to "Promote the use of renewable energies and the circular economy in the European Union, through the development of a methodology and training resources aimed at young people in vulnerable situations and professionals working with them, as well as through the creation of youth initiatives based on sustainable and non-polluting consumption models".

To ensure the achievement of Youth Energy's objectives, the consortium will conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings. Prior research on training needs will be conducted and a Module will be created and delivered to train professionals on sustainable energy and consumption patterns. A Guide will be developed with pedagogical and practical materials to facilitate the creation of Energy Labs and initiatives that will be evaluated and submitted to an international competition.

It is expected to raise awareness among the young population of the EU and to train young people and professionals in the use of renewable energies and circular economy. The provision of the Guide will have facilitated the creation of Energy Labs in Spain, Italy, Greece and Latvia; where participating youth will have developed prototypes, initiatives and/or clean energy systems. The tangible results of the project will be: the Research, the Training Module, the Guide and the Awareness Campaign.
