Objectives

RadicalGame aims to a) bridge policy, research and practice in preventing youth radicalisation through a cross-sectoral and transnational collaboration, b) develop youth engagement, participation, and prevent the spread of radical dogmas and ideologies using game-based pedagogies, and c) implement a participatory action research methodology to democratize the co-creation of new knowledge related to civic engagement and prevention of radicalisation.

Activities

a)Development of RadicalGame for youth to develop active citizenship and prevent the risk of radicalisation b)Capacity building of 90 youth practitioners and 120 young people. c)Virtual transnational roundtables with 40 relevant stakeholders, for co-creation of Policy and Practice Recommendations Guide d) Dissemination including social media campaign, local events, short videos and final conference to reach 300,000 EU citizens.

Impact

Enhance the capacities of youth practitioners and strengthen transnational and cross-cultural collaborations in the field of radicalisation and civic engagement. Additionally, young people will be provided with game-based opportunities and experiences to enhance their active citizenship by applying critical thinking, intercultural skills and media literacy all of which will positively impact their civic engagement and reduce risks of radicalisation.
