Objectives

Aim: Foster employability and social inclusion and cohesion through an educational, participatory, innovative and intercultural approach to European tangible and intangible cultural and natural heritage. Ob1: Raise awareness among youth, during two years, on the importance of European heritage through youth engagement in order to foster its long-lasting preservation. Ob2: Reinforce strong ties among European partners and build organizational capacity in the field of heritage.

Activities

The project activities follow three directions: 1. European tangible/intangible natural and cultural heritage: Preservation through research and youth involvement 3. Digitalization of heritage 4. Employability and entrepreneurship in the heritage sector These directions foster the implementation of 4 European Youth Worker Trainings, 16 Local Youth Workshops, 2 Intellectual Outputs, 4 Partner Meetings, 3 Multiplier Events, 1 online European unconference, 20 environmental and 20 cultural events.

Impact

New competences among youth and youth workers by conducting research on European tangible/ intangible cultural and natural heritage (200 sites) and the creation of two innovative outputs: IO1 - The Heritage Stewardship Interactive Map and IO2 - The Cultural and Environmental Stewards: A Guidebook. Developed good practices in the areas of environmental/ heritage preservation and social engagement in the three partner regions, by fostering the creation of local youth communities and actions.
