Objectives

The most important training course for trainers in Europe, "Training of trainers" (ToT) organized for 21 years by SALTO, in collaboration with national agencies, has trained more than 500 European trainers in these years. To date, only two PwDA have used it: a blind Italian participant, in 2015/16 and, in the current 2022/23 edition, a wheelchair user. This project seeks to train a PwDA as trainers and create an inclusion framework

Activities

National and transnational courses will be implemented, in a context of total inclusion, for deaf (Spain), wheelchair users (Slovenia) and blind (Belgium) youth. These courses will be based on the ETS competency model. In addition, the participants will be supported in the creation of training courses framed in the KA1. A proposal will be developed with strategies and methods in the development of diversity in the field of youth and non-formal education for institutions.

Impact

The main results of this project will be: A proposal with strategies and methods in the development of diversity in the field of youth and non-formal education for European institutions and organizations, which guarantees the inclusion of young CDF in their actions. Young cDF trained based on the ETS competency model for trainers, prepared to begin their professional development in this field. As well as the creation of training courses on their part.
