Objectives

The project effectively engaged educators through various platforms and formats, providing instructions on how to apply models and tools. The inspiring podcast series facilitated expert-to-expert interactions, motivating teachers to implement innovative practices. The project aimed to support universities in better preparing their students and lifelong learners for the dynamic and challenging world of work. This was accomplished by equipping academic staff at Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with tools and resources to enhance their educational delivery. The project sought to help academics engage more with industries and society in the design and implementation of educational practices through multidisciplinary and external collaboration. The project aimed to create a lasting impact on the educational system, making it more adaptable and responsive to the needs of students and educators. The culmination of the project included an online event, the development of a playbook, and a toolkit based on real-life interviews and insights. Through analysis work ensured the selection of relevant topics for the content and sharing in easy to adapt and apply formats.

Activities

The activities implemented in our project can be summarized into three main pillars: 1) research, 2) cases and practices, and 3) sharing and promoting deliverables. The research activities involved interviews and the collection of relevant materials for analysis. Additionally, a comprehensive questionnaire was distributed to students to gather their insights. Through a cooperative approach, the project team developed a podcast series and created content for a playbook and toolkit tailored to the needs of Higher Education (HE) teachers. The project emphasized practical applications and real-life examples. These cases and practices showcased successful implementations of innovative teaching methods and collaborative approaches. The playbook and toolkit provided educators with practical tools and resources, including various pedagogical approaches. Most promotional actions occurred online, with metrics closely monitored to measure impact. Events for HE teachers served as platforms to engage, inspire, and the events significantly impacted online metrics. Regular work meetings and a cohesive project group facilitated effective implementation and supported the project's aims through action-oriented approaches.

Impact

Cie_gateway webpage (www.cie-gateway.eu) is channel to share and use created materials: outcomes and results in format that suits to user. (tool portal: www.cie-gateway.eu/cie-gateway) Based on collected data and analysis the content and tools were developed to meet the needs of core target audience. Sustainability and accessibility were taken account by offering the project's all outcomes and results for use in downloadable as well as online versions. The web page and it's content is tested with core target audience test groups to validate the accessibility and validity of the content. The Podcast series are also offered via multiple channels to ensure the availability and usage. Case collection was based on expert interviews and from those and the analysis guaranteed the content creation and selection of the tools for playbook and toolkit was reliable. The core project group took well care of that sharing platforms and formats were selected to support HE teachers needs.
