▶Objectives
Our main objective is to design and test a digital learning module on women's health and more specifically on mental health to help women in the workplace better understand their health and manage chronic illnesses. We are concentrating on cross-cutting aspects of care, such as mental health support. We will address the user experience at a macro level (overall journey) and a micro level (touchpoints), considering the overall environment, people, places, objects, rules, relationships, and potential barriers. The expected outcomes of this project include knowledge sharing and the creation of a platform for exchanging ideas and best practices among women, with the support of healthcare professionals. Our project contributes to improving access to sexual and reproductive healthcare both nationally and across Europe. By implementing FEMCARE we will support the need for adult education related to sexual and reproductive health. In particular, through our human-centric, design-driven project we will contribute to creating awareness and developing digital tools to self-care in nutrition and mental health.
▶Activities
We have implemented several activities within the framework of the Femcare project. These activities are aligned with the objectives of our project. - Organization and implementation of user circles: We organized 10 online circles (24 participants, 161 people interested) to co-design the learning module and better understand the needs of our primary target group - working women. These circles were structured around specific themes: fertility, postpartum, and menopause: https://mentalhealthresilienceprogram.my.canva.site/ - Developed a learning module titled 'Building Resilience,' focusing on three key themes (linked to each circle): fertility, postpartum, and menopause. - Created a prototype for a care and learning pathway. Feedback from users in the final circles was considered before finalizing the prototype. - Organized a mental health festival. This event took place in two parts: 1) practical workshops and discussion circles with participants; 2) discussions on women's health.
