▶Objectives
We focused and tried to achieve these goals: - increased the awareness of the science and technology literacy of the students to 70% - formed a teacher profile that can awake the students’ interest and curiosity focused on experiment-based methods - increased the number of teachers using new methods STEM, Learning by doing and Robotics applications - by supplying the ways of exploring in accordance with their interest, skill and potential and conveying them that could be gained through science - turned into an educational nest that could meet community’s needs and can organize international activities The aims of this project were: increased the success of science subjects/the awareness of science and technology literacy among students aged 12-17 years old at the partner schools (more than 500 pupils, aged 12-17), among many teachers (at least 50%) and provided science education with new innovative methods; STEM, Learning by Doing, and Robotics&Coding(ICT) applications that supported constructive approach. That's what we wanted to achieve thanks to the partnership.
▶Activities
To reach this goal to keep the sustainability of this project it is implemented 4 main Activities; -short-term exchange of pupils (short teaching activities, team works, joint workshops, organizing informative campaigns, presentations, organizing fest, field visits) and short-term joint staff events (team works, joint workshops, additions to curriculum field visit) through the medium of ltt activities, also through the medium of dissemination. -Created logo -Science Literate Schools Guide
▶Impact
These were the concrete results; -Development of a guide based on new approaches that contain 4 different contents (PISA-Based,STEM,Learning by Doing,Robotics&Coding) designed by the partnership to increase science literacy rate among students. This guide is complemented mainly by teachers and students who joined the mobilities. -Project corners at school became a school-wide awareness site. -The final project science festival to recap the information and the project products.
