Objectives

The objectives were to: - Raise awareness of environmental issues and climate change in each country. - Develop strategies to help with change. - To make learners, staff and families actors of change. - Establishment of a dynamic environment to help combat these issues. These objectives have also made it possible to respond in a cross-cutting way to the other two priorities: "European identity, citizenship and values" and "Prevention of racism and discrimination" by taking into account the different learning outcomes linked to geographical and socio-economic disparities. They will also take into account social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity.

Activities

The activities offered were concrete, fun and active. The learners built with their hands, played, visited. Associations and universities have accompanied us throughout the project. It was possible to rely on them in all four countries.

Impact

Through this activity, students, learners and parents were better informed and aware of the environment and climate change. The participants' foreign language proficiency improved. This has led to an increased interest in foreign languages and transnational projects in schools. Concrete actions have been put in place: waste collection in three countries, implementation of selective bins, zero waste picnics, reduction of plastic waste, ..... We hope that the new behaviours acquired will last over time. The way target audiences look at it has changed. Together, despite our differences, we can be stronger and help change the world.
