We wanted to raise the awareness of tomorrow's citizens, decomplexify the various waste sorting and recycling processes, and benefit from a real exchange to learn from others, while at the same time promoting the practice of English across the board. participating students acquired practical skills in environmental conservation and took on ship leadership roles in promoting sustainability within their communities. Teachers improved their knowledge and were introduced to new teaching methodologies that integrate environmental issues into regular curricula. The wider communities around each partner school were involved through workshops, media campaigns and public events, spreading awareness beyond the schools.

We held regular online meetings, a kick-off meeting and final dissemination events in each partner country to coordinate project activities. Our collaborative approach enabled smooth communication and sharing of resources. We implemented activities relating to waste sorting, the specific organization of partner countries in the form of participation in meetings, workshops and statistics. (Workshops, cultural visits, soap-making, creation of ecological pots, interactive workshops and a radio program) Before promoting activities, we took stock of the methods used in each country. We opted for group activities, mixing up the different countries in order to cross the different points of view.

We created a logo for the project, which we used as a communication tool to disseminate the project in the form of flyers, badges, banners and a graphic charter for the networks. In addition, an e-book was produced, recounting the entire project and serving as a veritable memory of the two years. All this contributed to the promotion of the project in various networks (institutional, partners, schools, private). We were also able to broadcast our work via the school's radio station in Portugal: students were able to interview local leaders on the subject of recycling and to discuss themes related to our project. creation of an electronic booklet summarizing all the activities and workshops, which will serve as a resource for future students and educators. The establishment of a transnational European network that will continue to share best practice in environmental education. Increased awareness of environmental issues among students, teachers and the wider school community, including tangible results in waste reduction.
